review The Croods

"The Croods,"  this is one of my favorite animated movie I ever seen. This movie make us see the prehistoric history more interesting. I will start by saying that I'm a huge fan of this movie. This movie really different from another animated movie, from the storyline, the characters, settings, and many details that make me say "whoa" all the time.

This animated movie is about a prehistoric cave family. When this family goes out to get breakfast, they really go out to get breakfast. In a race to get food, parents Grug  and Ugga, Ugga's mother, Gran, and their three children work together .

They stay inside a cold, dark, cave. None of the other families of their community have survived, and Grug is terrified of anything that he can't control. So he tells his family that "curiosity is bad and anything that is new is bad." Keeping everyone alive is his full-time job. "Never not be afraid," he warns them. "Fear keeps us alive."

"I will never do anything new or different," promises son Thunk. But Eep wants to explore the world outside the cave. What Grug see as safe and under control, Eep see as boring and old. Then Eep meet a guy named Guy. He has a lot of new ideas like tools, shoes, a "belt" and "baby suns" — fire. Eep wants to learn more. One day an earthquake smash their cave and force the family to leave for find a new place to live. Then the croods family and guy start their journey to a place called 'tomorrow'.

This film full of light comedy that make me laugh all the time and don't forget about the wonderful animation that this film showed to us. Every character of the croods are unique.

After all, i think this is a very good movie. Well, although most of the movie is predictable, but The Croods able to prove that this movie deserves to be watched, and most importantly, entertaining. Because, basically, that's the main element of entertainment. Not all good idea can be packaged properly into an 'entertainment', but the Croods can.
